From handcrafted goods to unique treats and practical favourites, here are great gift ideas under $60 all from businesses right here at home.
Sequoia Soaps

The best part is that it’s already wrapped in our custom originally designed box. For men or women,” said owner Michaelee Lazore.
“It’s a great gift because these are inspired by the four sacred medicines in Indigenous culture. Giving medicine is a sign of caring. These soaps are medicine for your skin.”
Goodleaf Designs
“I have made a new line of corn husk earrings of strawberry red corn husks,” said Jeci Goodleaf. “These earrings would be a great gift because when you are in your winter blues and no longer gardening, you still feel connected to the garden with some beautiful corn husk earrings. I also did some brick-stitched earrings for strawberry earrings, and our celestial tree. All great stocking stuffers, teacher’s gifts, or for a gift exchange,” she said.

Lotus + Sage Holistics
“Give the gift of wellness this holiday season with our aromatherapy rollers. We have one for each person on your list and they make the perfect stocking stuffers!” said Lauren McComber, owner and manager of Lotus + Sage Holistics. They go one for $15 or four for $50.
Boba Delight
“For all the bubble tea and trinket lovers out there, we’ve got the perfect holiday gifts for you! From bubble tea to blind boxes, 3D prints, slime, and so much more, Boba Delight has got you covered this holiday season.”
Rowy’s
Proprietor Austin Lazare selected Rowy’s salty sour pickles for the honour.
“Rowy’s Salty Sours are unbelievably delicious. Always local, always hand packed. A simple, honest gift for a classic Christmas,” said Lazare.
The Crystal Connection
“Turquoise jewellery is cherished for its calming energy and timeless beauty, symbolizing protection and inner peace. Its vibrant blue-green tones make every piece feel both earthy and spiritually uplifting,” said Arlene Goodleaf, owner of The Crystal Connection.
Jacobs Family Designs
“A fully customizable t-shirt and mug set is a memorable, meaningful gift. Perfect for a work gift exchange or a heartfelt gift for that special someone in your life,” said Laura Jacobs-Montour, who, along with Kana Jacobs, are co-owners of Jacobs Family Designs.
Kahkotsi:io Beauty Salon
Allison Diabo, owner and hairdresser at Kahkotsi:io Beauty Salon, selected a mini oil ornament for $26, a mini perfume gift set $45, and a mini body spray ornament for $25. “Great stocking stuffers for the lady in your life,” said Diabo.
Deer Apothecary
“This small business began from a personal need,” said Laurie Deer, owner of Deer Apothecary. “In late 2023, I learned my magnesium levels were low and needed daily support. When I couldn’t find a product that worked the way I wanted, I created my own, what became Deer Apothecary’s signature magnesium oil spray. What started as a personal remedy quickly grew as others experienced the benefits too.”
For the gift guide, Deer selected the apothecary’s handcrafted sleep spray, which costs $45. Their products are for sale through their Facebook page or at Rapids and Traditions in Kahnawake.
The Whyte Crow
“We make and sell landscape artwork in frames or in various shapes (moose, bears, turtles, wolves, snipes, etc.) at The Whyte Crow,” said Mathew Whyte, proprietor of the family business. “People like to furnish their homes, offices or their cabins with our one-of-a-kind creations. This piece is $35.”
Tahoe Designs
Tahatie Montour, owner of Tahoe Designs, chose horn rattles, $50, for this feature.
“Great for all ages, also a great gift for socials, school, and mid-winter,” said Montour.

“This item is a great beginner set that includes figurines, paint and tools to get started with Warhammer. Great gift to get you started,” said Dawn Hollender, owner of Mystical Pastimes.
