Morrison on medical leave
Mohawk Council of Kahnawake (MCK) chief Melanie Morrison is currently on medical leave, with an expected return date of Monday, November 17.
In the meantime, her portfolio assignments will be covered by the rest of the Council table. MCK chief Stephen McComber will take on the heritage file, Morrison’s lead portfolio, while MCK chief Iohahi:io Delisle will cover her part of the community safety file. MCK grand chief Cody Diabo will fulfil Morrison’s role on the infrastructure, transport, and operations file in her absence.
