COVID-19 outbreak over
Kateri Memorial Hospital Centre (KMHC) has announced the end of a COVID-19 outbreak at its long-term care facility.
“As has been stated on numberous occasions since COVID-19 first appeared, it is vitally important that we protect our most vulnerable populations (elders and those with compromised immune systems),” said KMHC in a press release dated January 16.
The outbreak had been declared on December 29.
Masking will still be required for the time being in cl areas, according to the hospital, and anyone with cold or flu symptoms is being asked to delay visiting patients or residents until they feel better.
