Gunfire in residential area

The Kahnawake Peacekeepers received a report this week that a gun had been fired from a dark SUV on Peter Foxy Road.
Peacekeeper spokesperson Kyle Zachary was unable to give further information at the present time.
“We’re still working on identifying who was in the SUV and things like that,” he said.
The Peacekeepers have sought security footage and canvassed the area for witnesses. Zachary encouraged anyone with information to come forward.
“We take the safety of the community as seriously as we can, above all else,” said Zachary.
According to the Peacekeepers’ statement, no instances of injury or property damage were reported following the incident.
