Kanento:ton Etienne has dreamed of playing high-level lacrosse since he was young, and now he has earned a spot on the Quebec U15 team’s roster in Halifax for the minor box lacrosse nationals in August.

The boys’ hockey portion of the Chevrolet Cup in Chateauguay ended without any Kahnawa’kehró:non players making it to the medal rounds, but it was still a good experience for those who took part in the provincial tournament.

The 60th edition of the Quebec Games Finals, which brings together competitors from regions across the province, starts this weekend in Blainville.

It was a huge year for sports in Kahnawake, with championship wins and draft selections going along with medals, much effort, and lots of fun!

After two seasons of competitive volleyball in the RSEQ, Quebec’s main interschool league, local schools weren’t able to put together a squad this year.

Even if it might have been a tough weekend results-wise for the two summer Kahnawake Warhawks baseball teams still in action, both the U15B girls and U18 mixed team gave it their all.
