    The Royal Canadian Legion Mohawk Branch 219 have completed what it’s president Ray Deer is calling “phase two” of the Hometown Heroes banner project, with the last few of this remaining batch of 51 banners being installed along Old Malone Highway last Friday.

    Veterans honoured in town

    More Kahnawa’kehró:non have joined the growing list of those awarded the King Charles III’s Coronation Medal this week. This time around it was the community’s veterans that were honoured, at a ceremony held Wednesday morning at the Royal Canadian Legion Mohawk Branch 219.
