Players on the Kanehsatake Warriors U11 and U13 teams got a head start on National Lacrosse League stardom over the weekend, with the teams putting on a half-time scrimmage on the floor of the Canadian Tire Centre at the Ottawa Black Bears game on Saturday.

The Kahnawake Minor Hockey Association (KMHA)’s U15B Mohawks are Eastern Hockey League (EHL) finals bound. Saturday’s 2-0 win against the Verdun Bulldogs punched their ticket to the finals, which are happening today, Friday, at Scotty Bowman Arena in Verdun at 7 p.m.
