His work has been acknowledged at the national and regional level, receiving honours such as the Canadian Association of Journalists Community Written Feature Award and the Quebec Community Newspapers Association's Paul Dumont-Frenette Outstanding Journalism Award for journalist of the year. He was previously editor-in-chief of The Link and a contributing editor at Our Canada magazine.
