Gabriel recognized for strong rookie season

Kanehsata’kehró:non laxer Logan Gabriel was named one of three Eastern division rookies of the year in the Ontario Junior C Lacrosse League (OJCLL) for his accomplishments with the Kahnawake Junior C Hunters this season, the team’s first ever.
Gabriel, a forward, scored 18 goals and had 26 assists for 44 points in 20 games with the Hunters, playoffs included, the second most on the team.
He had the 12th most points in the East, and was tied for eighth in assists.
Gabriel recorded one hat trick this season, doing so in the Junior C team’s first ever win, an 11-7 victory against the Cornwall Celtics on May 21.
