Election year in Kanesatake

Marcus is an award-winning journalist and the managing editor of The Eastern Door, where he has been reporting since 2021 on issues that matter to Kahnawake and Kanesatake. His work has been acknowledged at the national and regional level, receiving honours such as the Canadian Association of Journalists Community Written Feature Award and the Quebec Community Newspapers Association's Paul Dumont-Frenette Outstanding Journalism Award for journalist of the year. He was previously editor-in-chief of The Link and a contributing editor at Our Canada magazine.
