The Kahnawake Gaming Commission (KGC) will have a shiny new booth at the world’s largest gaming conference in Barcelona this coming January, thanks to an injection of $22,000 from the Mohawk Council of Kahnawake (MCK).

The U13 Warhawks Purple’s hot streak is continuing uninterrupted after their sectional finals win against the Outaouais Rapides Espoirs Blue.

A record-breaking $115,000 was raised at the 2024 Tewathohnhi’saktha Business Golf Challenge, this year benefitting the Kahnawake Youth Center (KYC). Each year, Tewathohnhi’saktha asks for proposals from potential beneficiaries, which are then deliberated by its board of directors.

The conclusion of the 2024 Canadian Box Lacrosse National Championships saw eight Kahnawa’kheró:non players win gold. The tournament was held in Regina, Saskatchewan, from August 12-17 in the Co-operators Centre.
