(Marisela Amador The Eastern Door) The class of 2020 had a grad experience like no other. After schools in the province shutdown, no one knew what was going to happen to graduation ceremonies or whether they would even have one.

(File Photo) The Kahnawake Education Center (KEC) has started to look at several different scenarios for the new school year in the fall, and although no decision has been made yet, there’s a ton of work going on behind the scenes.

Premier Francois Legault announced recently that schools will gradually re-open in Quebec, but Kahnawake has other plans. All schools will remain closed for the remainder of the school year, as stipulated by the Kahnawake COVID-19 Pandemic Task Force.
