Local baseball star Tyson Kyer has had a busy summer on the diamond - and it’s not done yet.
On top of playing with the Kahnawake Junior A Warhawks as a 17-year-old, the first baseman has been doing a lot of travelling with the U17 Montreal Titans.
That includes playing in the Gary Butler Memorial Tournament last weekend in Morrisonville, New York. Coming up this weekend, he’ll be playing in Cooperstown, New York - site of the National Baseball Hall of Fame - with his U17 Montreal Titans team for the Cooperstown Backyard Baseball Classic.
The following weekend will be spent in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, for the Northeast World Series, a prospect tournament that showcases North American top teams, among which are the U17 Titans.
