Representing Kahnawake at Chevy Cup

The Chevrolet Cup, the yearly provincial women’s hockey championship, is taking place from April 3-6 in Quebec City and Saguenay.
Multiple players from Kahnawake will be playing in the championship, as their respective teams qualified for the championship through their regular season or playoff results.
Hayse Horne and Ryan Stacey will be playing for the U15 AAA Lac St. Louis Warriors; Ella Montour and Iakotsteniaron Deer are on the U15A Suroit Rockettes; Lydia Montour and Ken’tarenhawe Montour are also on the Rockettes, playing for the U15B team; Aria Kirby is playing for the U13AA Lac St. Louis Warriors; Iotenhariio Lahache is on the U13 A Suroit Rockettes; Briella Kirby will play for the U11 AA Lac St. Louis Warriors; Shay Leah Leclaire and Niio Diabo are playing for the U18B Suroit Rockettes; and the Junior A Storm Southwest have Shyanna Day, Lexey Leclaire, Ava Standup, and Tewa White. Breeze Lahache will unfortunately miss the Chevy Cup due to injury for the Storm.
