Mixed softball league playoffs kick off

After a summer of action, the Kahnawake Mixed Softball League (KMSL) playoffs are now underway, with four teams vying to immortalize their name on the trophy this year.
In the opener at the Hospital Field Wednesday night, the undefeated Rezbirds (12-0) bested the Yankees (4-5-1) with a 19-5 win.
In the second game of the evening, the Boys (8-8) defeated the Demons (4-3-1) with a score of 10-9.
Due to circumstances, including games cancelled for weather and players not being available for games, not all teams played the same number of games during the regular season.
The second game of each respective series was played on Thursday night after The Eastern Door’s publishing deadline.
