A year off a century celebrated in style

Born June 14, 1920, Mary Paul celebrated turning 99 years young at her home in Kahnawake with a small group of friends and a cake.

The young lady moved to Brooklyn when she was 19, and returned to the community in 2009. She has a daughter, Roberta Duhaime, with her late husband Louie Duhaime. (Daniel J. Rowe, The Eastern Door)
